Short answer: a performance page can only be verified when three things are available together — a specific trading account, an unbroken date range, and a stated calculation method. Remove any one and the figure becomes uncheckable.
The three common gaps
- No account linkage: results are typed into a page rather than read from a broker or third-party statement.
- Selective ranges: a start date chosen after the fact excludes drawdown periods.
- Undefined method: 'win rate' may count partial closes, break-even exits or manually cancelled signals differently.
How we handle it
This site does not republish performance figures as facts. Where a figure exists, it is labelled provider-reported with the source and the date it was seen. Where no record exists, the figure is removed rather than repeated.
