World Economic Forum is Looking for Crypto and Blockchain Experts to Commence Research

World Economic Forum, WEF, is getting a listing among the biggest financial organizations globally to expand their human resource with cryptocurrency and blockchain experts. Media reports are reflecting that WEF has recently posted a new job listing that is looking for a blockchain expert and cryptocurrency lead that can manage an entire dedicated department in the future.

It means that the WEF experts have acknowledged that the cryptocurrency sector can make a massive impact on the transformation of financial and commercial infrastructure shortly. The privately run and managed organization that does not come under the purview of any government agency is funded by its 1000 members, and it is known for its lobbying efforts to make noteworthy changes in government policies and legislative policies.

World Economic Forum and Cryptocurrency Sector

The job posting by WEF is looking to hire a Crypto and Blockchain Lead that is targeted at the Fourth Industrial Revolution or C4IR global center based in San Francisco, California. It is worth noting that C4IR Global Network has offices and branches spread across 14 countries, and it works to bring industry leaders, academics, civil societies, and commercial organizations on one platform.

The parties gathered on the WEF platform under the flag of shared interests can work independently or form task forces and create a global web for conducting research and encouraging digital collaboration. The job post added by the WEF stated that the head of the department would work on topics like CBDCs, stablecoins, Web 3.0, and other cryptocurrency byproducts.

The annual 2022 WEF meeting held in Davos, Switzerland, emphasized introducing cryptocurrencies as its main focus. Executives from cryptocurrency organizations and startups attended the meeting showing their enthusiasm and getting a chance to introduce their cryptocurrency innovations to the world. The event also showcased a Free Bitcoin Pizza stall in the Liquidity Lounge to serve the attendees.

Miami Mayor Francis Suarez was among the chief speakers at the event. During his speech, he told WEF panel members that he was drawing his government salary in the form of Bitcoin. He further shared his positive stance towards cryptocurrency and Bitcoin despite the controversial collapse of Terra USD stablecoin and the onslaught of Crypto Winter.
